Podcast interview for The Decision Lab on Remote Work. The interview was conducted in English and released in 2021.
The pandemic has profoundly affected the way we work. Many people have lost their jobs, but others have found a new one. Some people will never return to an office, others will never leave home again.
The shift from office to home-based work has created some workplace problems – including absenteeism, lack of communication and a diminished sense of belonging – but it also created opportunities for leaders who understand how to manage this new environment.
Good leaders know how to turn crises into opportunities. I firmly believe that the pandemic can usher in a profound change in our relationship with work.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Brooke Struck, PhD from The Decision Lab to discuss the far-reaching consequences of our switch to remote work.
The Decision Lab is a highly promising consulting firm that does research on human behavior, and disseminates that research through a variety of initiatives.
