The COVID -19 pandemic has intertwined our work and personal lives in ways never seen before. The way organizations view flexible work arrangements has fundamentally changed, while at the same time exciting opportunities around flexible work schedules, four-day work weeks, and job sharing have come to light.

Emerging research reveals how Canadians are affected by the disruption caused by the pandemic while working from home.

While there are many areas that need to be closely examined and improved, the increase in telecommuting has had a positive impact for many workers.

I am an associate professor of organizational behavior at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management, where I conduct research on the future of work and conflict resolution in the workplace.

I teach organizational behavior and negotiation at all academic levels. I also lead negotiation workshops for corporations and work one-on-one with managers as a negotiation coach.
